First 100th Monkey Eco-Summit

An environmental conference will be held September 29-30, 2005 at Kemptville College. This is a joint partnership with the Canadian Biodiversity Institute and the Eastern Ontario Biodiversity Museum. One hundred school children from grades 5-8 will be invited to participate from 25 schools across eastern Ontario. This summit will help create a larger community of young environmentalists who can translate the leatership and citizen skills learned through their activism into strengthening the broader civil society.
